Modern home in the country is on a farm lane surrounded by fruit trees, tropical gardens and birds. Conveniently located for taking day trips or just relax and soak up the sun beside our pool. Lifestyle friendly paradise awaits you.
Our two acre property is on the edge of a coffee farm; we grow our own organically. We have mango, papaya and jacote trees with fruits seasonally and bananas most of the year. Wander the gardens amid our tropical plants. Or walk the farm lane through the coffee plantation. Wake to the songs of toucans and other tropical birds.
The house features 5 meter ceilings with fans in every room. There is no need for heating or a/c with daytime temperatures of 24-33c (75-91 F) and comfortable nights of 17-20c (63-68 F). There is usually a nice breeze up from the valley during the day.

Things to Do:
We can help you arrange a variety of day trips using trusted local driver guides. Many are within an hour from Casa Roberto. Possibilities include:
Airport transfer by taxi costs about $45.
Public buses are very inexpensive but the system is confusing, consisting of many separate operators who each service a group of cities and towns. Hence we recommend a local driver to get you easily and safely to and from attractions. There are several buses daily running to Atenas or Palmares, the two nearby towns. Local taxi is a good alternative and inexpensive, under $10 to either town. Car rentals are available at the airport or we can arrange delivery of a rental car to our location. BUT driving in Costa Rica is not for the feint of heart! Road signage is acceptable on the most major routes but very poor on secondary roads that are also narrow and winding. It is not safe to drive after dark (6 pm).
